Sarah + Walker's Louisville Wedding

From the Bride: We are relatively relaxed people, and so we really didn't get up to much of anything crazy. We hosted our wedding in Old Louisville, at the Women's Club of Louisville, where we had the chance to make use of the historic Frazier House and its grounds. We spurned tradition a bit and my partner and I greeted guests on entry to the wedding and hung around for cocktails ahead of a quick standing ceremony in the back garden of the house. We danced our first dance to “Carry You” by The Teskey Brothers. Our cake choices were (1) vanilla chiffon layers, honey whipped cream, fresh raspberries and earl grey Swiss meringue buttercream (2) olive oil chiffon layers, poached pears, brown sugar Swiss meringue buttercream and (3) chocolate chiffon layers, orange marmalade, fresh blackberries and torched Swiss meringue buttercream. We also adored having a photographer who focused heavily on film and candid, documentary-style photos of our friends and family!

Bride’s Advice: Make sure a couple slices of each cake flavor get set aside for you!
