Rachel + Brian's Nicholasville Wedding

From the Bride: Growing up, I always wanted my wedding to exude the warmth and charm that you feel on a beautiful, sunny Saturday in Kentucky. After a rainy morning, the sun came out for a beautiful afternoon of pictures, a perfect ceremony in the garden, and a magical evening under a clear tent and twinkly lights!

We wanted our wedding to be timeless and elegant, with a color scheme of blush and white with hints of gold. Our bridesmaids wore varying shades of pink in different fabrics and styles, matching our flower boy who wore a light pink suit, while the groomsmen opted for classic black tuxes.

After our first dance to “Lover” by Taylor Swift, we shared a slice of our chocolate wedding cake and dug up a bourbon bottle, which we had buried at our rehearsal to ward off bad weather (it worked!). Dancing the night away was a top priority! After our Maids of Honor and Best Men gave their speeches, our DJ, a close friend, kept the dance floor lively for hours! The groomsmen even serenaded the bride with a choreographed dance to "My Girl". When guests needed a break from dancing, they enjoyed taking photos with fun props and music in our photo booth! We ended the night running through a tunnel of sparklers, waving to our friends and family from a classic black convertible.

Bride’s Advice: Wedding planning should not be stressful. Take a breath and soak in your time as a Bride. You'll want to look back and remember your engagement as a time full of love and laughter with your partner and your loved ones!.
