Karly + Garrett's Paducah Wedding
From the Bride: When deciding on specific details of design, we wanted our wedding to feel like an extension of us. This manifested with our wedding being a mix of timeless classics and modern trends. We stuck with neutrals like black and white as our main colors, which felt most like us.
We also tried to focus on the little details. The same wax seal from our invitation was also used at the top of each guest’s name card for the reception.
We wanted to do a less traditional meal, and decided to have a build your own pasta bar! It was a huge hit. We had different types of noodles, sauces, and proteins so everyone could mix and match as they pleased! Everyone loved it! Our wedding cake flavor was Funfetti and traditional wedding cake. We danced our first dance to “Lifetime” by Justin Bieber.
Bride’s Advice: It’s okay to prioritize things that are important to you, even if it’s not something that is typically prioritized by other couples! Don’t be scared to do things how you want and don’t be concerned with other peoples opinions! This day is about you and your partner, so do whatever make sense for you!
