Morgan + Hadi's Castle and Key Wedding

From the Bride: It was really important that we embrace both Kentucky as well as things we always wanted to see in our wedding. I loved the idea of a starry night in the forest and did my best to bring that theme throughout the wedding design. Castle and Key’s venue was love at first sight and was exactly what we wanted. It had Kentucky history, bourbon, and a gorgeous aesthetic. Our florist did a fantastic job of taking my ideas and making them a reality, which combined really well with the tinkling lanterns. The signage was all designed and made by myself and I think it went well with the theme!

We danced our first dance to “Everytime We Touch” by Brent Morgan. We had a lavender gin and tonic and a black cherry Manhattan as our signature drinks. The staff for our wedding worked hard to see our ideas brought to life. We really loved the ability to have an indoor and outdoor space for our reception area so that people could relax away from the dance floor.

Bride’s Advice: Just how many of the little decisions can make a difference, but at the end of the day, the important thing is that you’re getting married to the love of your life.
