Michae + Josh's Paducah Wedding

From the Bride: Our wedding day started out with rain. It stopped raining in just the perfect time for us to start our pictures in beautiful downtown Paducah. Josh and I decided to stick to tradition and not see each other before the ceremony so I did a first look with my dad. I had a special token for him that said "LOVE" for him to keep in his wallet. I told him that it reminded me of the rock he gave me when I started middle school and was terrified. He was going to have a rock too in his pocket, so when I touched mine I would know I was close to my dad. As soon as I said that he pulled the rock out of his pocket...he had no idea I had anything for him, yet he kept that rock all these years and put it in his pocket for my wedding day.

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful in our Catholic church. After the Mass we went outside to take pictures in front of and inside the Columbia Theatre. This was the first time we had ever stepped foot inside the Columbia and it was one of the best parts of our big day! Our family and friends were at the Carson Center having a cocktail hour while we took pictures. After an amazing intro down the gorgeous steps of the Carson Center we entered the theatre and proceeded to go onto the stage for our reception. I honestly do not have words for how gorgeous our reception space was. Rocia blew our vision out of the water. Josh and I both love tacos so we had a taco bar with all of the toppings you can possibly think of!! Our two Australian Shepherds made a huge debut in the wedding too. We had drinks named after them, Tinley-Rita (Margarita) and The Chief (Jack and Coke.) Our cocktail napkins also had them on them with the words "We do too!" Of course, they were also caught eating out of the back of the cake at the reception too! That was one of our favorite parts of the entire reception! We both LOVE Eric Church, so Josh's grooms cake was a huge surprise for him to see Eric on the cake! Our live entertainment by Corey Evitts was also a hit by everyone. Everyone was very impressed by his talent!

As our guests were leaving our reception they picked up a succulent as a favor. We had them sitting on my grandpa's ladder. On one of the shelves on the ladder we had pictures of our grandparents that were watching from heaven. Having them be part of our big day was very special. We are so thankful for just how perfect our day was, from the decor to our neon sign photo backdrop. Every single part of the day was perfect.
