Luc + Kayla's Iceland Propsal

From the Photographer: This was an epic proposal shot at the iconic Skogafoss waterfall in Iceland this past summer. The couple (Luc & Kayla) traveled to Iceland all the way from Louisville, Kentucky. Luc wanted to propose on their trip and we planned it during the midnight sun, around 11 pm, in hopes of there being less tourists at the Skogafoss waterfall.

We did a whole practice shoot "for my portfolio" ahead of time to throw Kayla off and also get her comfortable with the idea of being photographed. By the time he was supposed to propose, it started to rain. All the tourists at the Skogafoss waterfall left and we had the entire waterfall to ourselves for their proposal. Once he dropped to one knee, she was genuinely so surprised and he started crying. It was an incredibly emotional moment matched with one of the most amazing landscapes in the world.
