Kaitlyn + Nick's Annville Wedding

From the Bride: Of all the ideas that we shaped our wedding around, family was the most meaningful one. While that may be a common theme for weddings, the deep-rooted tradition of our ceremony location helped to share the love that raised Nick and I with our family and friends. We exchanged vows in the church where his parents, as well has his sister and our brother-in-law, also exchanged vows. The beautiful stain glass-windowed church you see in our pictures holds many memories for us, our families and our community.

A fun touch to our reception was our dinner selection. Our first date was at a local Mexican restaurant, so we decided to cater our favorite Mexican dishes. Our guests were met with boats of chips and salsa on their plates as well as an array of Mexican combinations to choose from. Even though we took a risk by choosing a non-traditional dinner, it was one of the biggest hits at our wedding!

Bride’s Advice: A piece of advice I wish someone had told me about wedding planning—and one I pass along to all of my friends going through the wedding process—is not to get so lost in the planning that you lose sight of the beautiful union you’re about to enter into. While it’s a wonderful thing to have an elaborate color scheme and shiny decor, when the day finally arrives, the most meaningful parts of your day will be filled with your partner and your people. Lean into the people who truly love and care for you and have fun planning one of the most memorable days of your life!
