Hannah + Spencer's Lexington Wedding

From the Bride:

Something Old: My grandmother took my mother’s wedding gown and turned it into a special robe for me to wear on my wedding day. She also used the gown and lace to make the ring bearer pillow along with the garter that I wore on my wedding day.

Something New: I was able to purchase the dress of my dreams from Relix Bridal of Lexington. I knew the minute I put the gown on, it fit my personality and wedding day vibe- a little sass mixed with sparkle and class! Chasta from Relix gave the attention to every detail on my dress, and worked with the designer, Lazaro, to make my dream dress a reality. When I returned to Relix for my final fitting, Chasta surprised me with an original drawing of my dress, drawn and signed by Lazaro himself!

Something Borrowed: My mom, Cindi, let me borrow a cherished memento from my Great- grandmother. We included my “ Granny Ruth’s” broach in my wedding day accessories and photos.

Go Big Blue!: Spencer and I met when we both cheered for the University of Kentucky. We knew we wanted to include our love for UK Cheer on our wedding day! OUR sorry signature cocktail “The BIG BLUE MADDEN “was refreshing and sweet.

Favorite Moment: Seeing Spencer’s face when I walked down aisle on my dads arm was my most favorite sight of the day. I’ll never forget laying my head down on my daddy’s shoulder as he was giving me away.

Fight Song: The University of Kentucky fight song was played following our Special dances. As soon as the fight song began, Spencer and I, along with our bridal party and guests (who were also former UK Cheer members) popped up from our seats and hit the dance floor to build our classic “Wildcat Pyramid!”
