Gabrielle + Logan's Louisville Wedding

From the Bride: There are only a few moments in life that you, for sure, know you are going to remember every tiny little detail forever. I remember everything about October 14th. It was a day that was full of love and light, even though it was mostly cloudy and overcast. That is, right until we were standing in front of each other during the ceremony. Just as I began to read my vows to Logan, a single golden ray of sunlight poured into the garden as if it was a sign from the earth that we were doing something good–– something right. I think we both shed a few happy tears as I read my promises to him, sunlight beaming down, until it gently rolled back into the clouds. He read his vows to me. It was dreamlike. I'll never forget it.

After that we had FUN. It was a whirlwind. We ate lots of delicious food from our favorite restaurant in Louisville, Red Hog. We exchanged many hugs and thank you's with our friends and family, the people we love the most in the world. We had that first bite of cake as Mr. and Mrs., and then we popped the champagne! I don't regret the champagne tower at all. It was a great way to invite people out to the dance floor. Our cake was Funfetti with Vanilla Buttercream and Maraschino Cherries! We also had Red Velvet cupcakes and Funfetti Cupcakes.

We danced our first dance to “Love Me Tender” by Elvis Presley. After that, everyone danced! It was so much fun, I had to kick my heels off to keep up with the crowd. I danced with my husband and my best friends all night. I was whisked away around 10 pm by my new husband to exit in our getaway truck. I know people say this all the time, but it was seriously the best night of my life. Even better than that, I get to love the man I married for the rest of my life.

Bride’s Advice: Have fun! Don't forget to keep dating and celebrating love while you are planning your big day. That genuine love and connection is what makes everything magic.
