Elliot + Bryson's Lancaster Wedding

From the Bride: When designing my wedding, I wanted to keep it simple and classic! I think the simplicity of our day makes it stand out amongst the rest. Our wedding venue is so beautiful I knew I wanted it to speak for itself! We used white flowers, varying greenery, and magnolia leaves in our bouquets and floral arrangements throughout the venue. I chose black and white for our wedding colors; it was timeless! In my invitation suite, I included a handpainted view of the house of the venue we would be getting married in front of as the envelope liner.

We chose to partake in the tradition of burying a bourbon bottle upset down at the wedding venue one month away. They say it brings good weather on your wedding day--and that it did! We buried our favorite Buffalo Trace and dug it up after our ceremony! To celebrate, our wedding party shared a pour of the buried bourbon!

The highlight of our cocktail hour was the huge nacho bar and signature margarita! Guests could choose from varying salsas, queso dips, guacamole, and other toppings. Guests kept returning for more, even after dinner, which was tacos! Our "Rosie-rita" signature margarita was a hit! Bryson and I love mango margaritas, and we knew it was only fitting to offer one with our nacho bar and taco dinner. Bryson came up with naming it the "Rosie-rita" after our sweet pup! Alongside our wedding cake and cake pops, we also had a groom's cake and what we can call a "bride" cake. Bryson and I, so was our bridal party, are from rivaling counties, so we thought it fun to add in a bit of humor to make the added cakes our high school alma mater logos.

We danced our first dance to “Shake the Frost” by Tyler Childers.

Bride’s Advice: Enjoy the moments! The wedding planning process can be so stressful and overwhelming but do not wish it away. Enjoy the process of picking out your colors, deciding on a cake flavor, saying yes to the dress, and everything in between! Your big day will arrive in a blink of an eye and all your work for planning for your big day will be so worth it! On your wedding day, take it all in, be present! Nothing beats being in your Bridal Era!
