Carter + Adam's Louisville Wedding

From the Bride: My grandfather married us in the church where he had been a minister and that we (the bride's family) grew up in. He's married most people in my family!

Our band consisted of family friends who let us all (the groom, best man, maid of honor, father of the bride, and bride!) play songs during the reception, which was one of our favorite parts. My sister (maid of honor) sang our first dance song, “Crowded Table” by The Highwomen. I wrote a song called "Girls Have A Life" about getting married when I was 8 years old, and recorded it at a retreat 20 years ago. It really came full circle when I sang it at the reception!

We also had a Graeter’s Ice Cream Truck which was yummy and nostalgic, and our cake was German Chocolate and Italian Cream. . Our signature cocktails were a Strawberry Spritzer and KY Dark and Stormy.
