Cara + Seth's Engagment - "First the Capitol then the Chapel"

From Cara: My fiancé, Seth, and I both are Kentucky natives and met our Freshman year at Eastern Kentucky University. Seth grew up in Mt. Eden, Kentucky, while I grew up in Berea, Kentucky. We plan to build a house on his farm in Mt. Eden following our October 2023 wedding.

When it came to our engagement photos I knew I wanted something elegant and timeless. When thinking of a venue for the photos I remembered touring the State Capitol in middle school and the gorgeous limestone stairs! What better place to take elegant, timeless, photos than the State Capitol which encompasses all of those things. Taking our engagement photos in Frankfort, at the Capitol was the perfect way to honor our Kentucky roots.
