Bailie + Matthew's Owensboro Wedding
From the Bride: I wanted our wedding to capture a vintage feel with a garden theme. I loved using old vintage chairs from the antique mall in my hometown for our bride and groom chairs at the head table, along with my relatives wingback chair for the feet washing under the arch. I used my Nana’s elegant gold mirror she hangs in her home for our welcome sign, and I found old gold frames for extra decorations on the cake table and guest tables.
Some of my favorite memories were getting dresses with my bridesmaids at the Robinette House down the road from our venue, which holds a special place in my heart because the past owners of that home are my patients. Our first look was a dream, because it took place down the tree line which lead to where Matthew asked me to marry him. Having picture charms of grandparents who have passed away hanging from my bouquet, choosing to serve one another by feet washing in place of a unity candle, and being walked down by my dad and step-dad to the man of my dreams. My most memorable site was when I looked up to see my future husband waiting for me at the end of the aisle. His tears struck my heart, it was such an amazing gift from God to share in that moment.
