Ashley + Derek's Arling Wedding

From the Bride: Our wedding day was so special from start to finish! The morning started off with light rainy mist with the temp around 55 degrees, with the cloudy sky our pictures turned out perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing. Our colors were navy and dusty rose perfect for a spring wedding.

Derek and I had actually been dating 10 years on our wedding day. Picking the date was so easy because what better way to celebrate 10 years together than getting married! Our venue holds a special place in our heart because it is in our hometown Franklin, where Derek and I were both born and raised, graduated high school and hold our careers. Using all local vendors was important to us with our hometown wedding!

The first look with my Dad started with such a big hug (and tears of course) and that memory will always be so special. I’ve always been Daddy’s girl and the first look between us meant so much. Another favorite memory was the first look with Derek. We were so filled with emotion and it was such a special moment between us.

The best bite of food I had all day was the amazing white wedding cake! We went with the traditional naked cake topped with flowers, it was almost too pretty to eat but oh so good!

We loved hearing all of our friends and family so excited to see us enter the reception with loud cheers and clapping, such a humbling feeling to know we have so much support and are so loved. We ended the night with good food, dancing, drinks and a sparkler exit!
