Allyson + Zackary's Hopkinsville Wedding

From the Bride: The number one thing that made our day so special was having it in my parent’s backyard! Not only was this the home I spent most of my years growing up, but it is also where Zack got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. After looking at several different venues, it was clear that their home was the perfect place.

My favorite taste of the day was the shot of bourbon we took right before the ceremony. These shots were poured from the bottle that was buried one month before our wedding day in the spot we would stand! Don’t mess with Kentucky tradition!

When it was time to head down the aisle, I walked out the same door that I walked out of the night Zack proposed. Being able to replay that memory in my head before walking down the aisle was simply magical. My most memorable sight was when I saw Zack standing at the end of the aisle grinning from ear to ear! We stood in front of an arbor built by Zack’s father that was draped in beautiful white draperies and covered with flowers!

My grandmother held my hand so gentle and softly as she admired and complimented my wedding band after the ceremony and the smell of my mother’s perfume will always remind me of our wedding day!

The ceremony was followed by dinner and dancing in the most elegant tent fully draped in white draperies. The all white ballon wall with our custom “Mr & Mrs Eaton” neon sign spanned the large black and white dance floor. This created a unique focal point for the nights festivities! My favorite sound was hearing my father’s toast. I still get chills hearing parts of his toast in our wedding video! I now have his hand written copy to cherish forever. We kept the menu simple by serving two of our favorite foods, sliders and chicken tenders! Following dinner, we danced the night away until our confetti send off. The whole evening was everything I ever dreamed of!
