Julie + John's Louisville Wedding
From the Bride: My wedding day was two years and four months in the planning. My venue was selected as a child, as it was where my parents were married. The wedding itself was something I had planned as a child with my grandmother, who passed away in 2017. After her death, I discovered notes she kept from our days of planning. This is where my planning began, as a tribute to her.
Though my grandmother was traditional and timeless, she was also extravagant and gave us many unique ideas including slippers for dancing and rows of servers with champagne.
My favorite wedding day moment was walking into each wedding space. Not only was it simply beautiful to see my years of planning, but bringing my grandmother’s dreams to life made it feel as if she was still there. My husband’s favorite moment was the walk down the aisle (generic but true).
