Mercedes + Austin's Crestwood Wedding

From the bride: Covid-19 didn’t stop us from having a beautiful, botanical wedding. Surrounded by our immediate families with my Dad officiating, we were able to have the wedding we dreamed about. Austin’s mom is a florist and created the most beautiful bridal bouquet and floral arrangements for our special day. Our friend and neighbor made our wedding cheesecake. A childhood friend did my make-up. This day was truly a team effort from those we love most. We were married in a small garden with the castle in the background. It truly was a fairy tale experience. A live painter captured the ceremony – her painting of our vow ceremony is a piece of art we’ll treasure for years.

Our favorite memory was the ceremony itself and having our family with us. My dad got his license so that he could officiate; this was very special for all of us. The months leading up to our wedding day were stressful and crazy as things changed regularly. We planned and re-planned many things before deciding to just invite our immediate family and have a small, intimate ceremony. Getting married during a pandemic was challenging, but it brought us all together in a unique way. I’m a covid bride and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
