Southern Whitehall Wedding
Caitlyn and Chris’s Classic Southern Wedding
From the bride: When Chris and I started planning our wedding, there was one thing we agreed on right away. No matter what, we wanted this day to focus on the blessing of our new marriage and we wanted to share that gift with our closest family and friends. Chris and I love our families more than anything and chose a venue where everyone could celebrate with us. After seeing the southern beauty of Whitehall and everything it had to offer we knew right away this would be the place we say "I do.”
We both agreed the sweetest moment was walking down the aisle of an intimate stone garden surrounded with the faces of those we love most. Every bride would agree there is nothing sweeter than the moment you lock eyes with your groom, but it is even more special to share that moment with friends and family. We are so thankful for the love and support we were shown. Even though there were some faces only there in spirit that day, they still walked down the aisle. My mother wore jewelry from my great grandmother and I wore the engagement ring from my other great grandmother. Each of them would have enjoyed this day and I know they are so proud.
The day wouldn't have been so perfect without the planning and organization executed the months leading up to the wedding. I have my mother to thank for seeing my dream and making it hers as well. To every future bride, plan every minute of your wedding day and allow yourself to delegate those tasks to be completed the day of. From the time you wake up, enjoy and cherish every moment. Let yourself breathe and take in every memory. The day is meant to be celebrated. So, don't stress, plan ahead and remember this day is about you and your groom and nothing will stand in the way of your love.
