Stephanie + Richard's Louisville Wedding
From the Bride: Our absolute favorite thing about our wedding was the band! We had a live band and it had made our wedding so much more enjoyable than we ever could have dreamed. We went into wedding planning with our #1 goal being; to create a fun, dance-filled night that everyone will remember. We were able to do that and we attribute that to our band. The dance floor was packed all night long, it was everything we had hoped for.
Our wedding took place at my parent's residence. My Aunt and Uncle live directly behind my parents. We were able to have the ceremony in my Aunt's yard and then flow over to my parent's residence for cocktail hour and the reception. It worked out perfectly! We had cocktail hour on the pool deck and the reception was tented in a separate part of the yard. The whole night felt seamless and we owe that to our wedding planner.
We ended the night by jumping into the pool with our clothes on. It was super fun and definitely cold. Another memorable part of the night was when Richard came out of the pool without his ring - didn't even make it six hours! It was found the next day and quickly resized before we left for our honeymoon.
Bride’s Advice: Don't let the small details bring you down. Enjoy the wedding planning process and know that not everything will go perfectly, but that is okay. It's all about the experience.
