Sara + Bo's Bowling Green Wedding
Our venue couldn’t have been more perfect for a “Garden Party” inspired wedding. It created the perfect landscape and atmosphere for our special day. We chose a palette of dusty blue complemented by white and green florals, which beautifully contrasted with the surroundings and made our wedding truly stand out. We held our reception under a tent, where our tables stole the show. They were simple yet elegantly lined with pops of greenery, gold and dusty blue. In addition to the father-daughter dance, I danced with my Papaw. This was a special moment for the both of us as this was something we had talked about since I was a little girl. Mine and Bo’s first dance was to “Love You Like I Used To (Wedding Edition)” by Russel Dickerson’s.
Our wedding cake was red velvet with cream cheese frosting decorated with edible pearls on the outside. The grooms cake was a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and was golf themed. The golf balls on the grooms cake had our names on them and our wedding date. Both of our cakes were extra sweet as the main cake was made by the bride’s aunt and the grooms cake by the grooms aunt.
To capture the memories of our wedding day we incorporated an audio guest book, allowing our friends and family to leave messages for us to listen back on. It truly was a perfect day and one that we will treasure forever!
