Meagan + Tyler's Bowling Green Wedding

From the Bride: One of my favorite details about our wedding were the flowers. I worked with KB Events & Design to design our flowers to dress up our venue. Our venue is so beautiful alone with the historic brick and chandeliers, but the flowers really put it over the top. We had a beautiful combination of pinks and whites with greenery cascading down the staircase and also around the archways that lead into the buffet room. And then of course around the room on the tables as well. For dinner we had a pasta bar made by a local restaurant in Bowling Green -Mariah’s. Everything was delicious and our guests really enjoyed it. There wasn’t much leftover because guests kept going back for more. For our photobooth area we had a custom neon sign made with our last name. We used the mats from photo frames for our guest book. During the ceremony my husband and I took communion for the first time together as husband and wife. My husband had me design my engagement ring and wedding band so they are unique to me. We danced our first dance to “Joy of My Life” by Chris Stapleton.

For our fake send off we did sparklers. We did it before we opened the dance floor. We had our DJ ask our family and wedding party to come outside for a “photo”. That’s when we did the send off so it was more intimate and with our closest people. At the end of the night we had our limo pick us up and take us to Nashville to stay the night before our flight to Hawaii the next day.

Bride’s Advice: Look into getting a wedding planner if it’s in your budget. I planned myself mostly with a little help from my now husband. A planner would have been very helpful to take stress off of myself and delegate.
