Madison + David's Bardstown Wedding
From the Bride: I think what made our wedding stand out was the location. We held the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in the neighborhood I grew up in at my aunt and uncle’s home. Being able to have all of our friends and family who love us show up to witness our love for each other and having it right down the road from where I grew up was incredible.
My husband and his groomsmen got ready at the pool house while they enjoyed drinks at the bar and watched college football. My bridesmaids and I were getting ready in my childhood home and I was able to finish my vows on our back porch as the sun came up.
Our ceremony was held on one side of the property and down the hill cocktail hour took place poolside. Our reception took place on the opposite side of the ceremony where we had large tents holding our guest, DJ, Photo Booth, and catering. My mom and I put this wedding together with the help of friends and family so having her be apart of such a special day made it more than anything I could have asked for.
Bride’s Advice: Not everything is going to be perfect and that's okay! The day goes by so fast and you need to sit in it before it's gone.
