Kelsi + Conner's Danville Wedding
From the Bride: Some of the details that I believe set our wedding apart were reading our personal vows before our ceremony, a butterfly release during our unity ceremony, and personalized wooden name plates for each of our guests.
Writing personal vows were so important to us, we felt like our personal vows were meant for each other rather than everyone else and it was such an emotionally intimate part of our day.
Butterflies are fragile creatures which symbolize transformation, like a butterfly a marriage is a transformation into a new beginning but also a way to honor loved ones who have passed.
We wanted each of our guests to feel important as they too were a special part of our wedding day. We had custom wooden name plates made for each of our guests that attended. Conner and I decided that we wanted to have an intimate dinner together with just the two of us. After we were introduced at our reception our coordinator began dismissing tables to dinner and we snuck off to the the historic mansion on Warrenwood’s property so that we could take a moment to soak everything in. As soon as we walked inside Conner gave me the tightest hug and biggest kiss, this was such a special moment.
