Hannah + Cody's Jamestown Wedding

From the Bride: One of my favorite parts of our wedding day was when my dad, who played in a band when I was little, reunited with his former band members to play some old country and southern rock tunes!! Me and Cody also wanted a wedding that described us perfectly… so, of course, we had our favorite local Mexican restaurant cater for us. It was so yum and everything we could have ever wanted!! My favorite small detail of the day was incorporating a memory table for those who we have lost. My grandpa was supposed to be the one that married us but sadly, a couple months before the wedding he had a heart attack and passed away unexpectedly. He was the hardest working, most genuine, sweet, down to earth man. Our best times together always consisted of him twirling me around the dance floor, and singing our favorite country songs on horse trails together. His best friend ended up marrying Cody & I, but we knew we needed a part of him there for our special day. So we included a memory table with some of our best pictures together, and his saddle he rode horses on. We also had a table with a bottle of his favorite whiskey painted with a picture of me and him!

Our wedding cake was vanilla with buttercream frosting and we also had chocolate & vanilla cupcakes! We danced our first dance to “On my way to you” by Cody Johnson.

Bride’s Advice: Don’t stress over the small things!! At the end of the day - everything will come together and make for the best day of your life!!
