Candice + Mason's Goshen Wedding

From the Bride: The first thing that made our wedding day unforgettable was that we kept the guest list fairly small - we only invited family plus a small selection of friends. We only invited couples that we both have hung out with and that we have sat down and actually had a meal with. The other that that made our wedding stand out is that we used the items we already had around us. I walked down the aisle to my mother's oriental rugs, our officiant was my pastor from Lexington!

Now for the fun things; we had 502 Cafe Four Pegs Food Truck, and we had our second date there, our engagement party there, and we would eat there almost every month. it's one of our favorites! I walked down the aisle barefoot because I am clumsy and didn't find any shoes I liked - so I chose to be barefoot. We also took a shot of bourbon before we kissed to surprise our guests, but we didn't leave them out we had pre-ceremony drinks of beer or champagne so they could cheer with us. We also both danced with our mother's at the same time and it made for the best photos of both of us and our mothers on the dance floor. Our signature cocktails were Espresso Martinis and Old Fashioneds. We danced our first dance to “River” by Leon Bridges. Lastly, we created the vision together we gathered old bourbon bottles as the centerpieces, typed thank you notes to everyone, had cigars with custom matches next to the cigars for everyone to take and lastly the groom wore a white coat in remembrance of his father and mother's wedding.

Bride’s Advice: if it rains it's going to be okay! You can always change the layout, the tables or the drinks on the day of but we have no control over the rain. Also love your venues Plan B option because I was determined to get married outside but I luckily loved the inside Plan B option!
