Ashley and Josh's Gorgeous Day at Cason's Cove

From the bride: When planning our wedding, I imagined a very romantic setting, on a beautiful fall day, with all of our closest friends and family. When I found our venue, I could already envision what our wedding would look and feel like. It was the first and only venue that I looked at and I knew immediately that it was the one. So we had the venue, decor, vendors, the only thing missing on our wedding day was the beautiful fall weather that I had always dreamed of. Instead it was a very rainy day, and the ceremony had to be moved inside, but thankfully my florist/planner was AMAZING and made it so stunning that I was not even disappointed in the least. The rain held off long enough to get some pictures outside, and it turned out to be PERFECT!!!

We chose to have a few of our favorite desserts for our wedding favors; including mini apple pies, bourbon balls, and macarons and had treat bags with our signature logo... "Enjoy some Dessert from Mr. & Mrs. Wirt". A good friend made a lot of the items for our wedding including wooden signs, the ring bearer sign, our sign in picture, and she also made and created the macaron display.

All these little things are what I feel made our wedding unique, and of course the unpredictable Kentucky weather gave us a challenge but it was handled to perfection and I would not change one thing about it. My favorite wedding day moment was seeing Josh for the first time, it was so exciting walking up behind him and seeing his reaction when he saw me for the first time, I will never forget it. Josh's favorite wedding day moment was when we got to sit down to finally eat our delicious meal.
