Ana + Dustin's Millersburg Wedding

From the Bride: Our wedding took place at the beautiful grounds of Mustard Seed Hill. The historic mansion is filled with beauty and southern charm. It is perfect venue for any history lover like myself! I wore a lace, off the shoulder ball gown (much like Jacqueline Kennedy's) on the special day. My bridesmaids wore sleek black gowns which allowed their beautiful bouquets to really pop!

From a décor aspect, the florals were my favorite part and my favorite smell. Our reception tent was like walking into an elegant garden. We brought the outdoors inside with ficus trees scattered through the tent. Our reception tables were decorated with alternating high and low floral centerpieces. Florals also adorned our orb chandeliers hanging from the ceiling which added a whimsical touch. The final and center piece was our magnificent 4-teir cake with flowers carefully placed between each tier.

Above all, we wanted our wedding to be reflective of who we are as a couple. Dustin and I have never been ones to be the center of attention or life of the party so we opted for a more relaxed ceremony and reception. Instead of dancing we had 2 large TVs playing the SEC college football games of the day. To match our entertainment, I surprised my groom with a KSR groom's cake with cookies with phrases used on the show. The cookies were one of my favorite tastes of the day, plus we loved hearing all our guests try to figure out what the phrases on them meant. Our wedding planner, Jackie Lee, surprised us both with videos from the KSR crew that were played during the reception. This was such a special touch as we both are huge fans of the show. My favorite sound was our love story being told by our MC for all our guests to hear. Our wedding day may not have been customary but it was perfect for us.
