Whitley + Darius' Lexington Wedding
From the Photographer: Whitley + Darius’s Wedding day was such a beautiful and cooler August day. After many years of being together and pushing their wedding day back because of COVID this day was long awaited for.
This venue was such a stunning and unique place. It was so spacious and had the most distinctive style + design. The stone details were to die for! Their day was filled with laughter and sunshine. Their first look was filled with tears and smiles from ear to ear. We ventured down to the venues creek and took their bridal portraits. The prettiest little butterfly landed right on Darius’s finger and didn’t want to leave. It was such a sweet detail from the day. Their ceremony and toasts were filled with the sweetest words form their loved ones. They ended the perfect night dancing the night away celebrating Darius and Whitley’s lovely Wedding Day!
Darius’ family is actually from Romania so that was a super cool aspect to have at the wedding.
Here is the story on how Whitley found her dress - she brought in a picture of a bridal dress that she really liked (i.e. style, fitting, design) just to show the stylist helping her at the bridal appointment, The stylist asked Whitley if she wanted to try on the dress in the photo, and Whitely said yes. The dress in the photo was the last dress she tried on and it ended up being the dress she said "Yes" too! It was so unexpected since Whitley had no intention of trying on the dress she had in the photo. I guess when you know you know!
This wedding was mostly shot in film! The film shots are to die for, which makes this wedding so unique, along with the new venue and origins of the groom’s family.
