Abbey + Adam's Merefield Farm Wedding
From the Bride: Due to COVID, my husband and I made the decision to postpone our big, planned wedding to 2021. We wanted to go ahead and get married on the wedding date we originally chose because it was sentimental to me. It was my late grandmother's birthday. We discussed this with our venue owner, and though we had planned to just go to the courthouse, she offered for us to have a mini-ceremony on July 18 at the Vintage Barn. When this was decided we got to planning the small wedding that we never thought of having! Instead of having the big bridal party, we reached out to some of our family members and they stood beside us on our day. We invited our close friends and family to celebrate on our original day, and we had a small celebration with about 50 people.
We had our ceremony under the trees at the Vintage Barn, and my most memorable sight from our wedding was seeing my husband fall over in tears/shock mid-vows and then my grandpa shouted "it's not too late!" We enjoyed pizza and delicious cake with the guests that were able to attend.
