Lindsay + Emory's Cynthiana Wedding

From the Bride: Ever since I was a little girl, I have always dreamed of getting married to my person on my family’s farm in Kentucky. When my family moved to Texas, I thought that dream was no more. On June 27th, 2020, I can happily say that my dream became a reality. Although it was not easy planning a wedding out of state and during a world pandemic, my husband and I had an amazing support to system to help make sure we would be able to have our special day.

Our wedding was everything and more. It was a typical backyard, southern, intimate wedding. The reception was full of food, laughter, and dance challenges. With photography as my hobby, I thought it would be unique to have guests use Polaroid cameras to take pictures of themselves and stick in our guest book. My brother smoked the main entree, and as you can guess with our family living in Texas, there were six types of meats. The food paired nicely with bourbon and Ale-8.

My husband and I can both easily say that our favorite wedding day moment was our first look before the ceremony. As I was walking towards my groom, his back facing me, I could feel raindrops cool off my nervous sweat. As soon as he turned around, the raindrops stopped and the sun shined brightly down upon us. We will forever cherish that intimate moment between the two of us.
