Anna + Beau's Nashville Wedding

From the Bride: We couldn’t have loved our venue more. Clementine has the perfect blend of old conservative with clean, modern details. It’s beautiful and dramatic on its own so it allowed us to keep our decoration minimal. We chose lots of leafy greenery and used ivory/cream tones in our flowers that went perfectly with candles, which we had everywhere!

I'll never forget standing arm in arm with my dad moments before the double doors opened, a complete bundle of nerves, and hearing "Africa" by Toto being played on the historic 1889 pipe organ while the wedding party made their entrance. This moment to laugh right before we walked down the aisle was exactly what we needed. It was the perfect reprieve from anticipation and seriousness we hoped it would be.

We kept things traditional and did not have a first look before the ceremony, so of course the moment I saw Beau standing at the end of the aisle was the best moment of the day. At the risk of sounding like a cliché- he was all I could see! The rest of the room blurred and it was just he and I. During our ceremony, just before we said our vows, our wonderful minister asked us to take a second to turn and look out at our guests and take it all in. I’m so thankful he allowed a moment for us to see the faces of all our friends and loved ones looking back at us. It’s a mental picture we will both have forever.

Kentucky Bluegrass themed cocktail hour was a nod to Beau’s Lexington roots, since he lovingly obliged to a wedding in my home state of Tennessee. Our favorite part of the whole wedding planning process was putting together the bluegrass playlist of songs for the cocktail hour. And of course, bourbon was enjoyed.

The absolute best part about the food at our wedding was the late-night pizza delivered from the place Beau and I had our first date. Talk about full circle! It was so special to eat that same pizza- from a first date with a stranger, to our wedding day as husband and wife. Best pizza in Nashville if you ask me.
Some of our favorite photos of the day came from the afterparty. Many of our guests and friends joined us Downtown Nashville to continue the party, including our wonderful photographers. Being on Broadway in your wedding dress is an unforgettable experience to say the least!
