Ashton + Dylan's Limestone Hall Wedding
From the Bride: My now husband (!) and I met in elementary school. We were together for almost eight years before we tied the knot, so this wedding was a LONG time coming for us and our families. As such, we wanted our wedding to be super personal and include elements from each of our family members.
We discovered our wedding vision the second we walked into our venue - the details are in the contrast. We loved the contrast between the beautifully historic, romantic building and the extremely modern, geometric space. We chose to meld harsh and symmetrical pieces with wispy and unstructured elements. Two of our main colors/components were copper and acrylic, which tied together a multitude of aspects throughout our day. We created a copper seating chart with hexagonal acrylic pieces, a copper altar with a fresh floral garland, and a hanging copper geometric "centerpiece" that heightened the dimensional interest of the space. Lastly, one of my favorite elements was one that our guests created! We requested for our guests to provide us with "bucket list" items that we should complete together, to strengthen our marriage. There are so many other unique elements that I believe made our day perfect for us.
