Emilee & Josh’s Vintage Barn Wedding
From the Bride: Having a Volkswagen as a decoration right as people pulled up, really set the tone for our vintage themed wedding along with all the vintage tea cups and plates. I had two favorite moments. The first one was walking down the aisle with my wonderful father to the perfect man, my husband, a man that God blessed me with beyond what I could of imagined. The second was becoming a step mother that day to Natalie, it was such a huge blessing. Throughout the day, I surprised her with mini gifts and during our reception I surprised her with a bracelet with our wedding date on it and her name.
Everything about our wedding was special to me, from the delicious homemade food that my two aunts cooked, the beautiful cake my aunt made and the flowers. None of this would have happened if it wasn't for both of our wonderful parents who helped make our wedding the perfect vintage wedding, especially my mother. She worked night and day from calling vendors, making appointments, help picking out and making the decorations. I can’t thank her enough and I want her to know that I love her tremendously for everything and making the perfect wedding for me. Having live musicians play for the wedding ceremony really helped set the mood. We used records on the tables as decorations with pictures of Josh and myself to give it vintage musical theme.
From the Groom: I had two favorite moments. The first was seeing Emilee walk down the aisle, I had never felt so many emotions all at once. It was breathtaking. The second was getting to dance with my daughter. I felt like my relationship with her grew that day and I finally felt like I could be the father for her that she deserves.
