Emily and Christian's Timeless Wedding
From the Bride: Christian and I started this journey as high school sweethearts knowing one day this time would come. After seven years of learning, loving, and growing together he popped the question and this wedding adventure began! The vision for our wedding was for it to have a hometown feel, lots of love, and a timeless touch. Our wedding day was a dream! It had exceeded every expectation we had set for the day. The day started as a whirlwind of floral robes and hairspray and ended on a dance floor full of love and laughter. It’s so hard to choose a favorite moment from the day but we both agree our first look is something we will never forget. As soon as we saw each other you could just feel all the wedding day jitters wash away. We were more than ready to celebrate the day full of overwhelming love and support that would set the stage for the rest of our lives together.
Our Ceremony was held at our local church, the rich history of the church and the deep family ties made it the perfect place to say "I do". From the makeup artist and the hair dresser, to the DJ and caterers each vendor is a resident of our small town. This added such a personal touch to our wedding because each vendor put so much heart and soul into their trade to make our big day perfect. Our wedding is unique in that it showcased the hidden talents from the town that we love. We will always be Jackson County proud!
My advice to future brides is to enjoy the planning process. If you are from a small town like me, utilize your local businesses. Your hometown may have more to offer than you think. Enjoy twirling around in dresses with your best friends at the bridal boutique, and the late night conversations with your soon to be husband about your wedding vows. These moments are important and you will have these memories to reflect on after the rush of the big day is over. Appreciate the journey and embrace the chaos because this is the beginning of a beautiful life with the one you love!
