Katherine + Kameron's Classic Christmas Wedding

From the Bride: Our wedding day was the best day I could have ever imagined. When dreaming of our wedding I instantly knew I wanted a Christmas wedding. Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, allowing for dreamy romance and whimsical feelings. These feelings of warmth even in the cold December air are exactly what we wanted to feel on this special day.

Our venue offered several event locations and rentals for each bride to utilize. I chose to rent their romantic, antebellum style home for myself and my bridal party to stay the night before the big day. We spent the night laughing, telling stories and enjoying each other’s company. The next morning as we began to get ready at the Manor, mimosas were had along with even more laughs. Once the groom and groomsmen arrived at the Manor my nerves started to build. Luckily, Kameron and I opted to do a private first look at the Manor to ease any nerves. Being a December wedding, just four days before Christmas, the Manor and grounds were decorated for the holiday. Lights and garland hung from every inch of the Manor and grounds, only adding to the already romantic ambiance.

Upon arriving at our venue I was blown away by how romantic and classic the ballroom and fireside room were. My husband and I opted to have our ceremony in the fireside room, a smaller room off of the ballroom that housed a beautiful antique fireplace and large, floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was decorated with winter greenery and large pillar candles, creating the perfect environment for our evening ceremony. At the conclusion of our ceremony guests were invited to transition over to the ballroom where hors d'oeuvres and cocktails were waiting. Decorated with garland and Christmas trees, the ballroom was a winter wonderland. We spent the night dancing, chatting with friends and family, and wishing this day would never end.
