Kathleen + Michael's Franklin Wedding
From the Bride: We were married in First United Methodist Church in Franklin. My parents were married there in 1991, as were Johnny and June Cash in 1968. The ring bearers were the couple's two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, walked down the aisle by my 4 and 6-year-old cousins. The unity candle was accompanied by six wedding photos from generations past, and the song that played during its lighting was a recording from my parents' wedding, sung by her grandmother. The reception included tables numbered with photos of the bride and groom from ages zero to seventeen. The Arling is such a well-thought-out venue and the owner, Lydia, pays attention to every last detail and every last guest. You leave feeling like family. From start to finish, our wedding day was centered around the people and places that mean the most to us.
