Kaylah and Brent's Sweet Kentucky Wedding
SUGAR GROVE PROVIDES PERFECT PLACE TO SAY “I DO.”
KAYLAH AND BRENT CELEBRATE WITH A SWEET, RELAXED, JOYFUL WEDDING DAY
From the Bride: I described my wedding in three words: joyful, relaxed, and sweet because of the joy my husband and I felt on our wedding with all our family and friends brought together to see us get married. I say relaxed because I wanted everyone to feel relaxed and not stressed out about all the little things that went wrong or could go wrong. I used the word sweet because we not only had cake but also brought in a Maggie Moo’s ice cream truck to share ice cream with all of our guest. The ice cream truck was a fun touch to the wedding because Brent and I went to an ice cream shop on our first date.
Our wedding was a beautiful day in the middle of October. The sun was shinning and there was a nice breeze in the air to make for a perfect outside ceremony. I chose dusty blue for my bridesmaids dresses and my main flower colors were burgundy and blush pink roses. The groomsmen had on light grey suits and Brent wore a darker grey suit because I wanted him to stand out. Our wedding venue had so much character and flowers that were still in bloom that we did not need a whole lot of decorations. The venue was an old red barn with three big beautiful stained glass windows. My favorite wedding day moment was when Brent and I got ice cream from the Maggie Moo’s truck together as husband and wife. Brent’s favorite wedding day moment was sharing our wedding day with all of our family and friends. Lastly, the advice I would give brides planning their wedding is to not stress on your wedding day and be in the moment. And to spend the extra money on an excellent photographer because in the end you will have the beautiful pictures to look back on for the rest of your life.
