All submissions will be considered for either the blog or our print publication. If selected for print, you will be notified by January 31st, 2024 for Volume 16, Issue 1 (on newsstands in April 2024). If your submission is received after January 15th, 2024 and you are selected for print - you will be notified by July 21st, 2024 for Volume 16, Issue 2 (on newsstands in October 2024).
Due to the high number of submissions, you will only be contacted if your submission is approved for publication on either our blog or in print. If you aren’t contacted by the date above, you can submit elsewhere as it is not a fit for Kentucky Bride. If you’re unsure of the timeline, you can always email us at hello@kentuckybride.com with any questions.
styled shoots
Yes, we do accept styled shoots! Here's some important information: When considering styled shoots for print, we look for shoots that have not been shared on social media and/or blogs. It's important that we present fresh and unseen material to our readers. If you would like your styled shoot to be considered exclusively for print, please do not post to your social media and/or web outlets. We will do our research to ensure that styled shoots and editorials have not been shared on social media and/or blogs. Your submission can be rejected for violating these terms. Editorials and styled shoots must take place in Kentucky to be considered for print.

When submitting, please consider the highlights of the day and the details. The photos that are submitted should showcase the essence of the day. We look closely at the details, the consistency, and the composition of the photography. Please do not submit blog posts. We ask that you share a digital and downloadable gallery of images. Please do not submit via Dropbox, Google photos, or other file sharing sources. Please do not submit more than 150 photos.
We will only accept submissions through the form below.
Please take careful consideration when filling out the vendor credits. We will not consider submissions that do not include the vendor credits. If the space is left blank, we will assume that there was no vendor for that category. If there is a category that isn't listed, you can provide the vendor information in the "additional credits" section. If you do not include websites, your submission will not be reviewed until you correctly fill out the required form. The submission will be considered null and void without proper vendor credits. if your vendor does not have a website, please type "none."
NOTICE: By submitting, you are allowing Kentucky Bride to use verbiage and images submitted. please note that we reserve the right to remove your submission from our schedule (even if previously accepted) for any reason with or without notice if we so choose.
