From the Photographer: The essence of Kentucky is sprawling, horse-filled fields and a rich architectural history. Add in former Miss Kentucky and Miss Heart of Central Kentucky and you can call that true Southern allure. The inspiration for this session was to showcase an up-and-coming wedding and event venue and bed and breakfast, Historic Arcadia Farm located just minutes from Lexington in Stanford, KY. The location boasts multiple areas for the wedding parties to get ready on their big day. Also, the session was a wonderful way to feature some amazing local vendors. There was handmade jewelry by a Tiffany & Co instructed jeweler, a local photographer, a hometown baker, a well-known wedding and occasion dress boutique, and a partnership of caterer and florist. Some people want to escape city life and slow down a little. This private venue is the perfect place to do just that.
