From the Photographer: I knew from the moment I drove through the beautiful iron gates onto the property that this is a place I wanted to bring out my love of all things southern. After taking a tour of the inside and outside of the property, the theme was set and we knew we wanted to showcase locals in the area to bring business and light to this new venue.

We collaborated to bring on board some of the best local vendors to showcase a southern style that this 1923 estate on the Kentucky River lends rich heritage to. A tablescape of lush eucalyptus, gorgeous succulent and fine china was topped off with beautiful magnolia leaf place cards. The wedding cake held true to a southern soft teal blue setup under an old tree on the property with the venue in the background. The tradition of 'burying the bourbon' to ward off rain on your wedding day was observed to start traditions at this new wedding venue. The invitation suite was designed with the southern magnolia flower in mind to set the mood for this southern styled shoot.
