Kentucky Bohemian Equestrian Styled Shoot
Bohemian Chic Equestrian Dream
From the photographer: Kentucky was the inspiration for this styled shoot but I wanted to keep it quite subtle. We mixed the equestrian theme with bohemian influences and a stunning color palette full of rose gold, champagne, lavender and pink tones. I wanted to create two different looks for this shoot - a traditional dream in tulle and soft pinks combined with a beautiful bouquet that adds a pop of color; and for the very nontraditional look - a champagne colored romper, flower crown and cowboy boots. As far as the table setting goes - we decided to go with mix and match chairs, a dark table cloth to make everything else pop and as much glass and crystal as we could fit on the table. I custom designed a stationery - combining geometric patterns, floral influences and a mix of modern and traditional fonts. For the menus I designed lace edged vellum sleeves with wax seals - matching the copper tones of the silverware. I also made unique geometric place cards and a cake topper from acrylic sheets and vinyl cutouts and created a "bride" glass with the outline of a horse. The most talented cookie designer provided delicious Kentucky shaped place card cookies - sticking to the lavender and rose gold color theme.
