Hello, Spring.

Spring tones and soft color palettes have been gone far too long. We are so excited to share this gorgeous inspirational shoot that will leave you breathless.

Inspiration from the photographer: I have always dreamed of photographing this amazing, iconic venue in Kentucky. The venue has recently been undergoing many updates and style changes, and attracting brides who have fresh style and vision for how to use this space.

We chose a soft blush gown that kept with a classic bridal style, while being fresh and flirty to compliment the light purple lavender tones in the florals and slate blue tones on the table and in the suit. This whole palette just screamed fun and fresh to us! We were so happy with how the mix-matched color all came together!

My advice for brides planning their weddings this year would be to bring in one element to your wedding styling that you haven't seen anyone else try so far! Maybe that means incorporating a pop of color into your palette with a bright bouquet, or letting your groom dare to be different and choose a colored suit or suit jacket for part of the day! You can also play around with different things to use on your tables, such as these tiles we found to set our desserts on, or colored candlesticks versus a traditional white.

Another idea for the brides who always dream of having that gorgeous invitation suite, but maybe you don't have it in the budget to do a handwritten suite for all of your guests - choose to have one special suite made for your photographer to style and photograph. This element gets so often overlooked, but you can set the entire tone for your wedding story as you relive it later through your images with unique paper pieces that tie your whole style together!
