The News You've Been Waiting For

We know it's been a while since we last communicated with you and we want to bring you up to date. Once we sent out our Special Announcement, we were amazed at all the interest that was shown in continuing Kentucky Bride. Starting almost immediately, we began meeting with potential new owners. Our hearts were humbled by the response. For various reasons, we were just not able to move forward with anyone from that first (or second!) group of lovely people.

We were determined that the people who we chose to continue Kentucky Bride needed to share our passion of educating brides, while showcasing our fabulous real Kentucky weddings to the world! We also knew that we had gotten "her" (Kentucky Bride Magazine) through high school, but there was someone out there who could take her to college and beyond!

And, guess what? They found us ... and we've chosen them! And guess what else? They are a mother-daughter business team ... perfect! We're still basking in our good fortune in finding the very best fit for our readers and our advertisers! You all are going to love them. Some of you may already know them. They are Sandy (Mom) and Kate (daughter) Daugherty from Owensboro. t They both are so excited about getting started. And we are confident that they will hit the ground running!

You should be hearing from them soon about the next issue of Kentucky Bride, and their plans for the future. We hope you'll continue to support them as you've supported us in the past. We couldn't have done it without you!

We so much appreciate all the friendships we've formed through the magazine and our bridal events. It's been a wonderful journey, especially since we got to do it together! As you may know, Jacki has already moved to Florida, and is thoroughly enjoying the Sunshine State. Jaimeson is keeping busy flipping houses, working her AdvoCare business and a new website she will be sharing very soon (you know how particular she is).
