Sarah + Hunter's Refinery Wedding
From the Bride: This day was absolutely magical! Being part Vietnamese and part Iranian, I wanted to honor my heritage on this special day. The aghd is the ceremony portion of the wedding in which the bride and groom sit in front of an assorted sofreh (or table) full of items that have meanings behind them. Some of the elements we had on our sofreh included a mirror that signifies eternity, two candlesticks that signify light and coins for wealth and prosperity. We then mixed a little bluegrass in with light-up cowboy hats and a fiddler with the show stopping Artie Dean Harris Band. We danced our first dance to “Cover Me Up” by Morgan Wallen. We wanted everyone to have a memorable night and from the Champagne wall, 6 foot charcuterie board by Board and You, to the groom getting on stage and performing with the band, I'd say we did just that!
Bride’s Advice: It is OK to ask for help and delegate tasks! You aren't a burden on them, they truly want to help and be a part of your special day. Heck, a few hours before the ceremony, we had an amazing friend of ours drive to our home to get our wedding rings!
