Morgan + Jackson's Sturgis Wedding

From the Bride: Jackson and I were born and raised in Western Kentucky - Union County to be exact. Our forever began at first sight in the eighth grade - we were married 10 years later at the ages of 24 & 25! Jackson is a Diver for the United States Navy and I am an Esthetician. We have been stationed on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii for a little over a year now and will be here for several more to come. Sharing our Kentucky roots and hospitality with everyone we meet is so fun and important to us. Having our dream wedding in our hometown still has us on cloud 9!

The same harpist that played for my parents’ Kentucky wedding in 1988 played for ours. This was so special to us! We also had a frozen margarita machine behind the bar that was an absolute hit!

We danced our first dance to “I Got You Babe” by Sonny and Cher.

Bride’s Advice: Take the extra photos that were not planned and take time to breathe and look around. It is such a magical time that deserves to be completely felt! Maybe designate a bridesmaid to remind you to take a moment to soak everything in throughout the wedding weekend.
