Hilliary + Caleb's Princeton Wedding

From the Bride: Caleb and I got married on December 4, 2021 at Caleb’s family farm and homeplace in Princeton. It was the most perfect day- 65 Degrees in December and nothing but clear, blue skies complete with sunshine. Our wedding ceremony took place in the front yard of Caleb’s childhood home. We chose to be married at this exact location for its beautiful scenery complete with a lush, green field of alfalfa as a natural backdrop. With Caleb and I both working in agriculture and being from farm families, this was the perfect location for us to start our lives together. The ceremony was centered around faith, love, and agriculture- which was more than fitting. In addition, our minister and my dad both delivered the most beautiful prayers and it truly marked a wonderful beginning to our forever... in faith, hope and love.

For my wedding look, I chose a high neckline, three-quarter sleeve lace and tulle dress. I wore Caleb’s mother’s family heirloom petite pearl necklace for my “Something Old”. As my “Something New,” I wore pearl earrings that were a wedding gift from my groom. The old and new pearls with the timeless dress truly completed my “Pippa Middleton” wedding attire vision.

Our flowers were by Caleb’s mom, Sara, who has a flower farm and florist business, Meadowview Flowers. I chose a color palette of red, burgundy, and peach flowers with a mixture of wild berries and winter greenery. Sara was able to locally source much of the berries and greenery from our farm and future homeplace. Because of that, the flowers were breathtaking and even more meaningful!

Bride’s Advice: Keep it simple and timeless. Those two things never go out of style!
