Avery + Andrew's New Haven Wedding

From the Bride: We made our day special by incorporating our family and friends throughout the ceremony. My little brother who is an ordained minister married us, my grandfather read scripture during the ceremony, and my mom was my “something blue”. We also opted for smaller wedding parties with our closest friends so the whole day could be relaxed and fun.

During our cocktail hour our cocktail napkins had handwritten notes we both had written each other throughout the time we were dating. We also both love live music so we had dueling pianists play during our cocktail hour and reception.

Bride’s Advice: Don’t be afraid to pick out and plan things that will really make the day special for you and your partner. It’s true when people say your wedding day goes by fast. However, it’s so much more memorable when you are excited about the day you have worked so hard to plan.
