Allie + Mitchell's Indiana Wedding

From the Bride: We had the most beautiful wedding ceremony at St. Augustine Catholic Church followed by a reception at our home. We moved into our dream home right before our wedding, and we wanted to start making memories in it immediately. We hosted about 60 close family and friends, we pitched a tent in the yard and we celebrated all day and night!

We wanted our reception to be fun and uniquely "us". Our food was a pizza and pasta bar with food from Parlour, where we had our first date. Elysia King, an artist, did a live painting of us while our guests could watch and interact with her. We had a champagne cart and flower bar provided by The Gathered Table Events & Rentals where guests could sip some bubbly and make a personalized bouquet to take home as a wedding favor. We offered bourbon tastings at our basement bar. Rosie the mobile wine bar from Marigold Catering made an appearance for wine on tap. We danced our first dance to “Lady May” by Tyler Childers (Fun Fact: We met in May, got married in May, our first day song was Lady May and now our daughter's middle name is May). And, we had a late night delivery of Chick-fil-A for guests to enjoy.

We wish we could do it all over again to relive the joy, but we have all the best moments perfectly captured thanks to our photographer.

Bride’s Advice: Just enjoy the process. Embrace the chaos. Don't sweat the small stuff. Because, at the end of it, you marry your best friend. And a lifetime full of love with them is really all that matters.
