JoAnn + Austin's Fresh and Elegant Wedding

From the Bride: Austin and I were blessed with a beautiful, sun-filled wedding day, right in the small town we both grew up in (aka "The Heart of KY"). From the very beginning, we knew we wanted our wedding to be consumed with refreshing details and an exceptional guest experience. Austin proposed with my great-grandmother’s diamond ring, and both being so family-orientated, we also knew we wanted our wedding centered around our appreciation for those who have shaped us into the people we are today. We began dating in 2009 so we knew our wedding needed to be timeless as we ourselves have stood the test of time! We decided to even "brand" our wedding with the simple " J | A " logo found on our invitations, programs, and at the reception.

The ceremony was held in the very church my parents wed in almost 35* years ago (also in August) and we hand-picked family members to assist, whether it be with readings or passing out programs. My late Granny Elder had picked out our readings prior to her passing (which we included on our programs), and rather than a MOH standing by me as we said our vows, I asked my twin brother. Our reception was indoor at an extremely common venue (again, small town), but was completely transformed thanks to our amazing vendors. In the center of it all, stood the most gorgeous wedding table covered in soft, warm florals, with just enough romantic lighting from the chandeliers. My mother then surprised us with sparklers during our first dance which ultimately left the entire room speechless (the pictures captured it perfectly). We had a two bar set-up which ensured our large guest list had no waiting for a drink, accompanied with koozies (including the J | A), matches (again with our logo and "The Perfect Match" - just like my parents on their wedding day), and napkins with our mini-labradoodle stating, "I do, too!". The night was full of dancing, fatheads of the bride/groom/and our dog, and even glow sticks.

It sounds so cliche, but it is impossible to pick out one moment of the day that was my favorite- I couldn't have asked for anything better! If I had to choose, for me, it would be immediately after we shared our big kiss on the alter; of course sealing the deal, but also turning around to face all of our loved ones who got to witness the joy within our hearts just melts mine every time! My groom loved the moment I was coming down the aisle and at the end of the night our guests chanting "one-more-song!". It confirmed we succeed in providing a night everyone would remember!
