Leah + Conner's Southern Wedding
From the Bride: As Conner and I planned our wedding, we wanted to include as many friends as vendors as possible. What I loved most about our wedding day is that each detail, vendor, and decoration had some type of meaning to us. Our relationship was basically built on ice cream dates and Chick-Fil-A, so of course we had to have Louisville Cream for dessert and nuggets as our late-night snack. I also am friends with an incredible artist (whose wedding was also featured in Kentucky Bride) who hand-painted a canvas of Whitehall during the reception, which is now hanging in our cute little apartment. Every time I look at it, it takes me back to that warm August day and all the butterflies I felt. My favorite moment of the day was when Conner and I did our first look. He NEVER cries, and as soon as he turned around to see my dress his eyes started to well and tears fell down his cheeks. I would say this moment, or dancing with his mom was Conner’s most memorable moment from the day. But they were all good moments.
